Position Description

In this position, you will play the critical role in defining and executing against the product’s acquisition strategy, with a marked focus on digital channels across paid social media, paid search, and aggregator/comparison organizations and affiliates. The development of comprehensive strategies across the digital ecosystem will be essential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving significant commercial growth across acquisition channels, ideally within the pet insurance vertical or comparable specialty insurance product. Experience with providing leadership and cohesion across related marketing disciplines (UI/UX, content/creative, test and learn optimization, is essential. 

The position must also be adept at leveraging data and digital analytics to effectively manage marketing budgets, maximizing return on advertising spend. Cross-functional management of internal and external resources groups and is expected, as well as the ability to effectively interface with executive stakeholders across the organization.

Core Accountabilities

Acquisition Strategy : Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven acquisition strategies across paid media channels, including search, display, social, and emerging platforms. Continuously optimize these strategies based on performance metrics and market trends. Agency Management : Oversee and manage relationships with external marketing agencies, ensuring alignment with Healthy Paws' goals and KPIs. Provide clear direction, evaluate agency performance, and drive accountability for results. Affiliate and Aggregator Partnerships : Act as the primary account manager for top affiliates and aggregators. Develop and nurture these partnerships to maximize acquisition opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in the pet insurance market. Cross-Channel Marketing : Demonstrate proficiency in holistic, cross-channel marketing strategies. Orchestrate seamless integration of paid media, affiliate marketing, and other acquisition channels to create cohesive customer journeys and maximize ROI. Data-Driven Decisioning : Maintain a deep understanding of key performance metrics across all acquisition channels. Utilize advanced analytics tools to extract actionable insights and drive continuous improvement in campaign performance. Budget Management : Effectively manage and allocate budgets across various acquisition channels. Demonstrate ability to optimize spend based on performance data and market conditions to achieve maximum ROI. Performance Reporting and Optimization : Regularly report on acquisition performance to executive leadership. Present clear, concise analyses of channel performance, ROI, and customer acquisition costs. Proactively suggest and implement optimizations and new channel opportunities. Team Collaboration : Work closely with the broader marketing team, including content creators, designers, and product managers, to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment across all acquisition efforts. Vendor and Technology Management : Contribute to the ongoing management and evaluation of marketing technology vendors and tools to support acquisition efforts. Currency with emerging martech solutions that could enhance acquisition capabilities. Compliance and Brand Consistency : Ensure all acquisition strategies and tactics comply with industry regulations and maintain brand consistency across all channels and partnerships. Market Intelligence : Perform regular analysis of competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging acquisition channels in the pet insurance and broader insurance markets. Utilize to inform strategy and cultivate competitive differentiation Testing and Innovation: Develop and implement a robust testing framework for new acquisition strategies, channels, and messaging. Foster a culture of innovation within the broader team to continuously improve acquisition effectiveness.

Requirements

Experience: 10-15 years in campaign strategy and digital marketing management, preferably in financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries. Direct Agency and Client-side experience is strongly preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience. Expertise in Cross-Channel Marketing: Demonstrated proficiency in managing and optimizing holistic, cross-channel marketing strategies. Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. Analytical Skills: Advanced data analysis capabilities to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to executive leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Budget Management: Proven ability to manage and optimize marketing budgets to achieve maximum ROI. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Slack, Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and WordPress. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle high-pressure situations.

Work Environment

Ideal candidate will be located in the greater Atlanta, Philadelphia, or New York area. Hybrid flexibility.

The pay range for the role is $146,500 to $240,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found . The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
