What you will bedoing:
- Reporting to theExecutive Chef responsibilities and essential job functions includebut are not limited to thefollowing:
- Consistentlyoffer professional friendly and proactive guest service whilesupporting fellow colleagues
- Lead and managethe quality and quantity of the Pastry department as well ascoordinate the production as it relates to all food &beverage and restaurant functions
- Develop newdessert pastry and bread products
- Maintainpayroll costs and productivity within budgetedguidelines
- Assist in the recruitment andtraining of all new Pastry colleagues
- Balanceoperational administrative and Colleagueneeds
- Follow outlet policies procedures andservice standards
- Follow all safety andsanitation policies when handling food andbeverage
- Other duties asassigned
Qualifications:
Yourexperience and skillsinclude:
- Extensiveleadership experience in a Pastry departmentrequired
- Diploma Certification in a culinarydiscipline required
- Proficient with sugar workand or chocolate skills
- Computer literate inMicrosoft Window applications an asset
- Stronginterpersonal and problem solvingabilities
- Ability to focus attention on guestneeds remaining calm and courteous at alltimes
- Highly responsible &reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure ina fast paced environment
- Ability to workcohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focusattention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at alltimes
- Responsible for State & FederalFood Handlers certification(mandatory)
