SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Corporate Development Manager. The candidate will be joining a lean and highly effective Corporate Development team that has raised over $650 million of equity and debt capital over the last two years. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the continued growth of the business through involvement in a wide range of high-profile initiatives, including capital raising and planning efforts, investor management, M&A transactions, and strategic investments. The ideal candidate will have a mastery of corporate finance principles, possess exceptional financial modeling and presentation skills, and be comfortable prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to engage with C-level management and support all corporate development efforts for the organization.

What you’d be doing:

Screen potential deals, conduct market research, and manage due diligence processes, including liaising with internal resources and external advisorsDevelop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential opportunities and support capital raising and capital planningPrepare investment memos and presentations for senior management, investors, and other stakeholdersContribute to the negotiation of deal terms and the preparation of legal documentationSupport investor management and investor communication efforts Monitor and report on the progress of portfolio companies Develop an understanding of emerging trends and industry dynamics Enhance current corporate development processes

We’re looking for someone who has:

3-5 years of financial experience, ideally in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consultingA strategic mindset with sound business judgementExceptional analytical and quantitative skills with experience maintaining and building detailed financial models Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills Persuasive communication skills and meticulous attention to detail Ability to assess workload and plan accordingly to meet competing deadlines Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and own challenging tasks while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude Comfort building and leveraging internal and external relationships to achieve objectives Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, accounting or a related field

Highly preferred candidates also have:

Transaction experience Prior property and casualty insurance experience Proficiency with S&P Capital IQ
