Apple River State Bank: Who We Are

As a community bank we provide a wide variety of financial services but delivered in a personalized manner only small banks can offer. Apple River State Bank was chartered in 1948 and opened in Apple River, Illinois which still remains a locally owned financial institution. As Apple River State Bank evaluated the local markets, it concluded that branches located in the expanding communities of Jo Daviess County was a means of enhancing its long-term opportunities and offering true community banking services. As a result, Apple River State Bank has opened full-service branches in Apple River, Elizabeth, Galena, Hanover, Scales Mound and Warren, Illinois. In Wisconsin we have two full service branch locations one in Hazel Green and Darlington.

What matters most

To excel as a Part-Time Teller at Apple River State Bank in Galena, IL, you'll need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of related experience or training-or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous cash handling or sales experience is preferred, as it demonstrates your ability to manage financial transactions efficiently.

Strong customer service skills are crucial for creating positive interactions with clients, addressing their needs, and providing solutions. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be invaluable in ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
