The role of a Senior Personal Banker at Illinois Bank & Trust, a division of HTLF Bank, involves providing exceptional customer service and assistance to customers in various aspects. This position requires handling customer needs, sales, services, consumer loan origination, and teller transactions as required, aiming to enhance the in-branch customer experience. Additionally, the Senior Personal Banker will utilize a needs-based selling strategy to offer solutions tailored to each customer's preferences in banking. They will also be responsible for referring customers to other banking services to address their financial requirements. Collaboration within the banking team to achieve center goals and enhance profitability is a key aspect of this role.
About the Ideal Candidate- Delivers outstanding customer service, seizes sales opportunities, and promotes bank products/services while actively engaging in the referral process.
- Builds strong relationships by monitoring key customer relationships, fostering business growth, and ensuring service excellence.
- Demonstrates adeptness in identifying customer needs, deepening relationships, and adjusting communication based on verbal and non-verbal cues.
- Proficient in presenting product benefits, overcoming objections, closing sales, fostering customer relationships, and establishing follow-up procedures.
- Works harmoniously with the banking team to meet service and sales targets.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's Degree is desirable.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales and customer service.
- Prior experience in teller services, cash handling, and consumer loans is advantageous.
