Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

Understanding of communication techniques, digital engagement, data analysis, content creation, project management, and organization information dissemination.  Analyze marketing data.  Use project management tools to ensure completion of the projects and fulfill the requirements.  Website management, social media management, content creation, video creation and editing.  Speak and listen effectively and professionally, draft email newsletters with correct grammar as well as clear and concise content.  Manage and complete administrative tasks as assigned.  Interact and communicate professionally with both internal and external audience and stakeholders.  Solve problems independently without needing constant and specific instructions. Critical thinking, creativity, time management, and adaptability. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multiple forms of media (print, digital, social media) Experience using project management software, a content management system, email marketing and design tools and analytics software/dashboards Working knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and social media strategies Job Description Schedules, coordinates and provides digital media services including, but not limited to, video, audio, photography, and social media assets to promotions and other department, division, or university needs. Job Duties Support the VPRRC: Help coordinate marketing and communication projects, announcements, content, and priorities across several areas: university news, digital engagement, internal communications, RRC website updates, events and general promotion of all areas related to the RR campus.

Web, social and video support: Update RRC webpages and draft social media posts to promote news and achievements from TXST. Assist in video projects by sharing creative ideas, drafting video messaging, and coordinating shoots and videos from events at the RRC.

Data Reporting: Provide web and social media reports and updates from media campaigns to the VPRCC.

Email Content Support: Draft and coordinate newsletters to key audiences including messages from the VPRRC and internal communications.

Research, coordination, administrative support: Assist with campaigns & special projects. Engage with faculty and staff across the university as needed. Project management and coordination related to events, marketing, promotions, and social-media messaging. Assist in engaging with the Campus Communicator network (group of faculty and staff across TXST with various outreach/ad/communications roles).

TXST Communication: participate in the University Communications meetings to be able to increase the flow of information to the RR campus on initiatives originating on the SM campus.
