Description:

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

The mission of the Early Professional Enrichment Program (EPEP) is to provide first hand clinical experience and exposure to post-baccalaureate graduates who are seeking to apply to graduate medical schooling.This unique opportunity allows for the individual to work alongside medical providers while building a professional network.

The typical Pepper has received their bachelors degree and is certified in BLS (basic life support) though American Heart Association or American Red Cross, who is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in healthcare Medical school, NP School or PA school.

We also ask that you are available to work at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES); or similarly recognized accrediting organization or completion of a Nursing Assistant program is required.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.


MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS required.
