Work Schedule : Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

and Friday 9:00 a.m. -12:00 noon /19 hours a week

Reports to: Pastor

The Stewardship Coordinator serves as chief fundraiser for Prince of Peace Catholic Church, overseeing all fund development and stewardship activities. These include the process for a successful Capital Campaign, the progress of the pledge fulfillment program, major gifts, and the completion of donor service needs. The Stewardship Coordinator also serves as a grant officer and fundraising liaison between the Archdiocese, pastor, donors, staff, and organizations.
 

Key Responsibilities :

 Plan and execute fundraising programs that meets or exceeds the parish’s revenue generating goals for campaigns such as Archbishop Appeal, and Like a Mustard Seed Capital Campaign Coordinates and promotes non-liturgical Parish Life events such as Parish Annual Raffles, Fundraising Galas and Festivals Events etc. Secure a diverse range of high-quality vendors for the Fall Festivals, including food, beverage, merchandise, and activity vendors while considering the safety of the community and the grounds. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts to ensure cost effectiveness. Overseeing grant seeking including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements. Responsible for forming relationships with major donors to fund projects and initiatives for the parish. Reporting bi-weekly fundraising activity and projections with the Pastor or Office Manage if delegated by the Pastor. Collaborate with the Parish Finance Council to develop and manage Like a Mustard Seed Capital Campaign. Consult with the Architect, Interior Designer, and Consultant to the Archdiocese of San Antonio, to develop a comprehensive campaign plan that can be introduced to the parish community.  Collaborate with the Communication Specialist for publications on all social platforms and the creation of publications with the Pastor’s approval to support fundraising activities. All other assigned duties by the Pastor. Requirements

  Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a related field or its equivalent in experience, with three or more years of experience in stewardship and development. Three or more years of experience in stewardship, fundraising, development, or nonprofit leadership. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and inspire others. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities. Have the ability to execute multiple tasks contemporaneously  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and fundraising software. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed for events and meetings.

Other Required Skills 

Understanding of Stewardship and its elements.  Must posses a high level of professionalism while representing the parish outside of the office  Be a practicing Catholic in good standing.  Must have knowledge of the teaching of the Catholic Church, a familiarity with its structures, functions and institutions.  Be able to demonstrate practicing stewardship as a way of life.  High level of independent thought and initiate as needed.  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with diverse groups of people

Goals :

Raise Brand Awareness engaging community through in person visits, and with our social media department  Acquire new recurring donors  Reconnecting with donors that did not complete their capital campaign pledges and encouraging them to complete the pledge Encourage present donors to increase their present gift size  Grow the existing fundraising programs by 30% over prior year  Secure donors for prizes on Parish Raffle so church funds are no longer are used to purchase prizes  Get the parish community excited again about the start of the Parish Life Building  Generate a minimum of $750K - $1MM annually
