Human Resources Assistant

Potelco, a leading utility construction company, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Sumner, WA . As part of the HR department, you will play a crucial role maintaining our HR records, processes, supporting our Senior HR Manager, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This is an on-site role with a dynamic and fast paced team, due to business needs this position will require some over time hours to be worked.

This is an hourly role with a range of $30-$38/hour. 

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Regularly audit personnel files to ensure that we have all required documents and ensure accuracy of information. Work closely with the Senior HR Manager to build and refine HR processes and policies, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Contribute to the development of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Assist and educate employees on benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Other duties as regarded

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in human resources or administrative roles. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Compensation Range
