Senior Manager, Walmart Services – Money Services Initiatives & Program Management

As the Senior Manager – Money Services Initiatives & Program Management, you will be responsible for orchestrating strategic initiatives, achieving business growth goals, and driving innovation. You will craft financial services business strategies, develop customer value propositions, partner with key internal and external stakeholders, execute on important cross-functional initiatives across the portfolio. You will be a key leader on one of the largest non-bank consumer financial services businesses in the world. You will leverage experience with Money Services businesses & key initiative leadership for businesses such as Money Transfers, Bill Payment, Check Cashing, Money Orders, and Deposits & Withdrawals.

You have strong analytical skills to interpret insights coming from various initiatives and have a mindset for continuous learning and improvement. You make informed & impactful decisions and have the acumen to translate complex data into actions & improvements. You are stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

You’ll make an impact by:

Achieving goals and results - Set and communicate clear and aligned goals for your business lines while sustaining an environment of the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and ethics. Leading strategic growth projects - Incubate, launch, test, and scale high impact strategic projects that drive growth for the Financial Services business. Improving the customer experience by viewing insights and trends – Use strategic thinking and innovation to create a seamless a customer experience and improve existing Financial Services customer experiences & operations. Strengthening the strategy - Equip yourself with latest industry knowledge and insights and translate them to help build and communicate clear and compelling strategies. Building cross-functional relationships - Build and sustain relationships with key internal and external partners to accelerate alignment and support on key initiatives and objectives. Deliver results – Achieve customer, operational, and financial metrics for existing and newly established business lines and set & achieve annual operating performance objectives. Drive operational excellence – Get the fundamentals right and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and improvement across. Seeking opportunities - Proactively seek out opportunities to propel the business forward and prepare for the next generation of customer services and experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 5 years of experience in consumer financial services, bill payment, money orders, product management, marketing management, customer relationship management, retail operations, or related area. 5 years of experience leading direct reports and/or large cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications / Other:

Marketing management in financial services, banking, or consumer lending, or innovation consulting experience in consumer financial services MBA in Marketing, Finance, Operations, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field and 2 years’ experience in consumer services industry, project management, product management, process improvement, retail operations, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in consumer services industry, project management, product management, process improvement, retail operations, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications...

Contracts Negotiation, Cross-functional project management, experience in retail operations or retail management, Forecasting, financial services planning, market analytics, or related field, Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, Microsoft Office Suite, Supervisory experience
