Director of Athletics-Pilates

We are looking for an skilled, experienced Director of Athletics—Pilates. The individual chosen for this role will be responsible for developing the overall education component of F45 Training’s Pilates brands, as well as implementing and conducting induction and education seminars. The director will also drive and oversee the Athletics strategy, vision, and direction of F45 training’s Pilates concepts to ensure an unrivaled member experience in studios.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing coaching strategies and training programs for the network. Guiding skill development, techniques, and strategies. Evaluating the progress of trainers and making adjustments to training as needed
  • Developing educational programs related to F45’s Pilates modalities. Conducting workshops, seminars, or training sessions for franchises and trainers
  • Ensuring that the athletic program adheres to all relevant rules, regulations, and standards set by governing bodies
  • Developing long-term strategic plans for the growth and success of the athletic program
  • Ensuring all Athletic education meets industry standards and represents F45 Training’s core values
  • Oversee the FS8 Athletics Programming - Concept to Creation
  • Developing and testing new workout formats, workouts and equipment
  • Reviewing FS8 and VAURA programming on a continued basis.
  • Exploring emerging human performance research in order to develop and implement changes in programming as required

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have...

  • Certification in Pilates - Required
  • Yoga Certification - Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred or Relevant Work Experience: Education includes Kinesiology, Anatomy & Physiology and/or Health & Wellness
  • Minimum 5 years in Pilates roles
  • Relevant industry experience of at least 5 years and a strong passion for fitness and customer service
  • Desired background includes previous involvement in developing and running Pilates programs
  • Desired background includes previous involvement in an education position, creating content on a large scale, and executing implementation
  • A proven track record of successful content development, preferably in the franchise industry and/or the fitness industry
