Minimum one (1) year related experience or 40 hours of breastfeeding education. Breastfeeding experience. Exhibits good nurturing skills Bilingual – English / Spanish / French / Creole - Preferred. Projects enthusiasm to assist other women. Basic computer skills. Must have breastfeeding experience, preferably exclusive breastfeeding.

Job Description


The Breastfeeding Peer Counselor is a para-professional support person with a commitment to promote and support breastfeeding women and their families. The Breastfeeding PEER Counselor is supervised by the Breastfeeding Coordinator and/or the Breastfeeding PEER Counselor Coordinator.
