Serving as primary client contact, advising and informing them regarding project status and schedule Lead multiple project teams for water and wastewater studies, such as: water and wastewater master plans, water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic modeling, regional water planning and asset management Work on dynamic teams as well as oversee and guide the work of teams of professionals Coordinating phases of the work to ensure completion within the established time and budgetary constraints Client interaction and a commitment to client service as well as the ability to collaborate with senior management on vision and leadership of overall engineering processes and strategy Work with utilities to solve complex issues and develop capital improvement plans Reviewing progress to provide continuity, conformity, and quality Checking calculations of others and sealing drawings and reports

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or comparable engineering or applied science degree. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma or Arkansas with the ability to become licensed in Kansas and Oklahoma or Arkansas, within 6 months. 20+ years of related experience with study, operations and/or design of water distribution, wastewater collection or regional water supply systems. Experience in managing small and large-sized projects, preparing and maintaining project schedules, tracking project financials, and preparing status reports Experience with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning a plus Experience in client development, sales/marketing, proposal development Excellent communication skills, both technical writing and verbal
