Since 1984, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute & Research Institute (FCS) has built a national reputation for excellence. With over 250 physicians, 220 nurse practitioners and physician assistants and nearly 100 locations in our network. Utilizing innovative clinical research, cutting-edge technologies, and advanced treatments, we are committed to providing world-class cancer care. We are recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award, FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida. In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule all appointments according to physician orders - including outside testing, referrals, and surgery services.
Act as liaison between company physician and referring physician/co-surgeon to ensure that all pertinent pre-op and post-op procedures/instructions are given to patients.
Responsible for monitoring, estimating and collecting the patient financial responsibility for patients’ in-house services and surgeries.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting.
Procedure entry with experience in insurance requirements, medical terminology and ICD10 and CPT coding required.
Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, superior attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid Florida Driver's License for travel to clinics is required.
