Overview

The Coordinator, HR Compliance is responsible for overseeing HR compliance administration for US operations, with a primary focus on work authorization compliance, as well as audit response. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can balance regulatory compliance with business needs, foster strong partnerships across the organization, and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex compliance landscapes while maintaining a strong focus on service and support for both internal and external stakeholders.


Essential Functions

  • Oversee and manage work authorization compliance processes, ensuring all employees have proper documentation and the organization remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with Operations, Corporate Functions, HR, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance practices across the organization.
  • Monitor compliance programs, with a focus on work authorization and immigration-related matters.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex compliance issues to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to work authorization and immigration.
  • Respond to client and government agency audits as assigned by the Senior Director, HR Compliance and Policies.

Qualifications – Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in HR, preferably with a focus on work authorization and immigration matters.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compliance management software.

  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement of compliance processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across various departments and levels of the organization.

Qualifications – License(s) & Language(s)

  • Spanish language skills preferred.
