Job Responsibilities: Resolve all attendance notifications from phone, voicemail, email, Skyward, and in-person requests from parents. Produce and send to student and parent(s) attendance communication documents including attendance notifications, contracts, loss of credit letters, and other related documents. Greet and assist visitors to the Main Office Complete attendance passes and notifications for students leaving the building. Resolve all absence lists: activities, athletics, substitute, groups, and other mass absence lists. Serve as a liaison between the administration, information desk, and teachers for attendance issues Produce attendance reports Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Job Qualifications: Experience in effectively working with high school age students and parents. Evidence of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to effectively maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to type at a minimum rate of 50 wpm. Proven record of excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail. Ability to quickly learn the Student Information System as it relates to attendance and reporting. Proven record of positive communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
