About the Role

As Data Entry Temp you will help us ensure accurate data entry. You will be responsible for a four week long data backfill project that requires entering and updating data into a case management system. We'll need you to sweat the details, and organization is important, as you enter and verify data.

You will work in our New York City Headquarters in a Hybrid fashion and report directly to the News Safety Program Manager.

Responsibilities:

You will input data from databases, and can maintain complex spreadsheets, and other systems into a case management system, following established guidelines and procedures.

Verify the accuracy of data entered by cross-referencing with source documents or other verification methods to ensure data integrity.

Quality Control: Perform quality checks on entered data to identify and correct any errors or discrepancies.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records and documentation of data entry activities, including any changes made and reasons for those changes.

Reporting: Produce reports and summaries based on entered data as requested by management or other team members.

Meet deadlines for data entry tasks and prioritize work.

Confidentiality: Maintain a high degree of confidentiality on all matters

Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding data entry tasks, progress, and any issues encountered.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Proficient in using computer applications such as Google Workspace, and database experience Zendesk and Airtable

Ability to resolve data entry issues or discrepancies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in data entry or related fields

Familiarity with data entry systems

The rate of base pay for this role is between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour.
