**Job Description**:
About the Role
As Data Entry Temp you will help us ensure accurate data entry. You will be responsible for a four week long data backfill project that requires entering and updating data into a case management system. We'll need you to sweat the details, and organization is important, as you enter and verify data.
You will work in our New York City Headquarters in a Hybrid fashion and report directly to the News Safety Program Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will input data from databases, and can maintain complex spreadsheets, and other systems into a case management system, following established guidelines and procedures.- Verify the accuracy of data entered by cross-referencing with source documents or other verification methods to ensure data integrity.- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on entered data to identify and correct any errors or discrepancies.- Documentation: Maintain detailed records and documentation of data entry activities, including any changes made and reasons for those changes.- Reporting: Produce reports and summaries based on entered data as requested by management or other team members.- Meet deadlines for data entry tasks and prioritize work.- Confidentiality: Maintain a high degree of confidentiality on all matters- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding data entry tasks, progress, and any issues encountered.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.-
- Ability to resolve data entry issues or discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data entry or related fields- Familiarity with data entry systems
The rate of base pay for this role is between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour.
