We embrace innovation and technology and encourage an atmosphere of open dialogue between employees and leadership. JOB SUMMARYIntermediate/Developmental Level– Under close supervision, incumbents in this role perform routine reservoir engineering assignments which are of limited scope and complexity in order to assist with and develop oil and gas reserves estimates and future production schedules. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with or performing well test analysis, economic analysis, material balances, and various recovery method analyses.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms analysis of internal and third party reservoir studies Performs economic analysis and evaluations of acquisitions, drilling, recompletion and work over opportunities to help with justification and drilling programs Collaborate with other professionals in devising economically viable development plans for assetAssists with budgeting, forecasting and other analysis for reporting purposes Assists with special studies of producing properties in order to estimate oil and gas reservesSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEEstablished proficiency in computing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is requiredWorking knowledge of ARIES is preferredWorking knowledge of Spotfire and/or Power BI preferredMust be able to work with large amounts of detailed data with high level of accuracyMust possess the ability to be self-directed while working in a team environmentMust possess strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsMust be able to meet established deadlinesEducation RequirementsMin/PreferredEducation LevelDescriptionMinimum4 Year / Bachelors DegreePosition typically requires skills normally obtained through the completion of a 4 year degree program in Petroleum EngineeringYears of ExperienceYears of Experience RangeDescription3-5 years3 to 5 years of experienceWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDWork is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced.
