Planner Central Maintenance

As a Central Maintenance Planner, you will be accountable for all outsourced third-party breakdown repair orders daily. You will coordinate response to all breakdown events in accordance with vendor availability and capability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.

Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5 Competitive wages Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement Positive and safe work environmentsEnsuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;Receive all incoming Fleet Maintenance related calls, including driver breakdowns;Coordinate response to vehicle breakdowns by utilizing our nationwide network of preferred service providers;Manage all third-party repair orders for our National Account Breakdown Service providers;Review all quotes received while on shift and identify areas where repair cost can be reduced/ eliminated;Identify rework scenarios where repairs should be denied and or be covered under warranty;Identify repairs that should be covered under OEM or aftermarket parts suppliers’ warranty;Coordinate with third party vendors to collect quotes, invoices and preventative maintenance forms;Create purchase orders for third-party breakdown repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years of transportation coordination experience required; 1+ year of Customer Service experience required; Call center experience preferred; Ability to create actionable items out of data and information; Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution; Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS project
