Security Engineer

**Immediate Requirement**

CSEngineering is looking to add a Security Engineer to our growing team.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate Access Control, CCTV, & Communications systems installations for U.S.Coast Guard facilities in Alameda California for effective and timely installations of useful systems.
  • Monitor and control project financial status and schedule.
  • Analyze existing facilities and assess needs for new and/or upgraded physical and electronic security infrastructure, and communication systems.
  • Design new systems and coordinate with as-built conditions and existing communications infrastructure.
  • Perform non-Security-Related Work. Independently coordinate and conduct engineering and other studies as requested to assist with other projects' design and procurement.
  • Provide support to others in the selection, procurement, testing, installation and acceptance of project components and equipment.
  • Prepare technical specifications, plans, cost analysis and work breakdown structure for new and existing security and communications projects as required to meet, stated and implied requirements.
  • Quantify project costs to prepare for Procurement.
  • Contract creation and administration, including identifying and qualifying consultants, contractors and suppliers, issuing RFP/RFQ's, analyzing proposals, negotiating, awarding and administering contracts, and managing the construction and payment processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, project management or directly related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible physical security systems design and installation.
