Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day oversight of the pharmacy team Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to pharmacy team. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff Assists in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures Develop and implement quality assurance standards, performance improvement activities May function as a pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy, providing clinical and dispensing functions in accordance with needs of the department Serve as clinical mentor and provide clinical pharmacy leadership to pharmacists in their daily patient care functions Assure compliance of pharmacy services with policy and regulatory agencies Develop, monitor and work effectively within established budget Lead within organizational structures to improve medication use outcomes through clinical pharmacy services, staffing deployment and technology Work closely with hospital leaders to optimize pharmacy services for patient care Collaborate with interdisciplinary work teams Coordinate implementation of strategic goals, projects, and programs affecting the department. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Valid Idaho Pharmacist License Minimum of three (3) years’ experienceMBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of two (2) years' experience
