Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group practice is seeking a Family Medicine physician to work full-time at its Locust Grove Clinic.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Locust Grove is a well-established practice located in the heart of Meridian. SAMG Locust Grove clinic currently has five Pediatric providers dedicated to providing services for young patients. This role is paired with a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to establish new Family Medicine practices on site to complement Pediatrics. A robust Hospitalist program covers inpatient needs, so inpatient medicine is limited. The clinic utilizes the Epic for Electronic Medical Record and Computerized Order Entry, so experience with EMR is highly encouraged.
Level IV Trauma Center; Saint Alphonsus pediatrics clinic on-site; community primary care and specialty clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, Monday through Friday, with no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Practice call is shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Family Medicine and is currently 1:30+.
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) or obtain such certification within three years of employment.
Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases.
Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
