JobDescription:

The Powder CoatingPainter is responsible for surface preparation mixing and applyingpaint and ensuring highquality finishes on metalcomponents.

What youll bedoing:

  • Abradingsurfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale sandpaint grease tar rust and dirt ensuring a specifiedfinish.
  • Shoveling or pouring abrasives such assand grit or shot into machine hoppers asrequired.
  • Selecting premixed paints or mixingpigment oil and thinning/drying substances to match specifiedcolors.
  • Prepping products before and afterpainting including using power spray gunsproficiently.

MustHaveQualifications:

  • 1yearprevious Industrial Powder Coating painting experience required atleast 6 months of previous experience.
  • Abilityto pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be fitted for and weara respirator.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and engage in physically activework.
