Join Our Team as an Automotive Painter

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team at Reading Truck. As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in preparing truck equipment orders for paint processing.

About the Role

As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing collision repairs in line with estimates with efficiency and accuracy
  • Reconstructing internal & external panels & structure of vehicles
  • Painting & paint prep
  • Determining the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat
  • Checking for runs, sags, or dry spots to ensure a quality finish
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Paint booth maintenance
  • Minor dent repair
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience painting vehicles in a production environment
  • 1+ year experience color matching
  • 1+ year experience collision repair and/or dent removal
