Position Overview:
The Account Executive will be responsible for driving retail sales growth within their region by effectively planning and consistently executing sales-related activities.
Business planning and strategic focus:
Drive required growth in account doors by developing and implementing tailored business plans Maximize retail sell through performance by brand, store and account Evaluate the retail performance of all assigned accounts and locations, taking appropriate action and ensuring thorough follow-up Launch new products and implement key promotions to agreed promotional plans Responsible for the analysis of promotions and tracking of sell through Aware of and continually monitor competitor activity and customer and consumer needs in the marketplace Manage and review reports from staffing agency to ensure accuracy and return on investment Responsible for maintaining and adhering to budgets – POS and T&E Execute and manage education, training, in-store events, and launches using protocols set in place
Leadership and Management of Selling Assistants thru 3rd party (Kelly Service):
Manage all aspects of recruiting and overseeing selling assistants, identifying training and development needs early on to maximize their performance potential Ensure the hiring of selling assistants is in line with authorized staffing levels / budget Effectively manage selling assistant sales performance through ongoing review and assessment utilizing the following tools: In store coaching, focusing on customer service selling techniques and clientele development (both promotional and basic business) Monitor and review sales performance against targets, including unit sale and value sale Provide ongoing coaching and training of selling assistants using the corporate training guidelines Maximize all motivational opportunities at events and promotions, ensuring there always focus on the achievement of salesManaging store relationships and communication:
Regularly communicate information regarding events, visual weeks, sales goals and promotions Maintain effective working relationships with all key store personnel including department managers, store managers and visual managers and regional/district managers Conduct monthly retail and promotional sales reviews with store management, as well as seasonal presentations, stock concerns, merchandising and staffing. Additionally, review with Field Sales Director.
Implementation of company marketing and merchandising program:
Oversee the execution of marketing activities, ensure that merchandising guidelines are followed and that collateral, samples, and other resources are utilized to maximize retail effectiveness Maintain the Elizabeth Arden brand image by ensuring high standards of counter merchandising and fostering the development of sales assistants#LI-PD1
