The Technology Education Solutions Specialist will support the Wholesale IT Technology Solutions team in effectively utilizing technology tools and software to achieve maximum benefit for work-flow, training delivery, communication, productivity, and other business processes. They will assist in the advancement of resources and assets that enable teammates and end users to most effectively apply technology-based solutions that meet organizational needs. They develop content and support materials, update existing resources and deliver teammate training. The goal of the Technology Education Solutions Specialist is to leverage their expertise to build resources and assets that enable teammates to most effectively apply technology-based solutions that meet enterprise-wide organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop content to be in alignment with business needs and strategies.

Assist with training and development programs and initiatives in support of customer needs and organizational goals

Assist in the planning, executing, and tracking of technical and professional training programs.

Help identify training needs by listening to teammates, observing encounters, reviewing available data, and conferring with Team Leaders

Assist with managing and maintaining training content and materials on the Resource Center on SharePoint

Create and maintain training materials on Systems applications and other Technology Solutions topics.

Keep up with the updates and changes for Systems applications and other products presented in connection with Technology Solutions

Lead training and assist with coordination of all training aspects related to Technology Solutions sessions for teammates.

Develop materials and tools through research, study, and assessment.

Work alongside the team to continually improve our content and training strategy by exploring new approaches and techniques.

Required Qualifications:

Associates degree, or equivalent experience

Proficient with Learning and Development Authoring Tools

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Travel locally 20% to Corporate office to assist with projects

Experience in planning, developing and implementing communication and education programs/materials

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, or related field

Evidence of organizational skills

Ability to work both independently and in a virtual team environment

Demonstrate willingness to grow and learn as technologies develop by engaging in software-related educational and credentialing programs

Ability to apply and incorporate technologies into solutions

Knowledge of Adult Learning theories

Knowledge of the insurance industry and concepts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $65,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
