Job Summary:

The State of Kentucky has approved medical marijuana as a form of treatment as well as symptom management for patients who suffer from one of the qualifying conditions. Patients looking to qualify need to be evaluated in person by a Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Kentucky. We believe that medical marijuana has significant potential to improve the quality of life for thousands of patients across the state of Kentucky and we are looking for compassionate, dedicated physicians to join our team We are currently offering part-time opportunities with the potential to go full-time.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct an in-person physical evaluation of patients and discuss medical history.
  • Verify that patients suffer from a qualifying condition.
  • Provide a recommended treatment plan for qualifying patients.
  • Inform patients of the risks associated with medical cannabis use.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed in the State of Kentucky
  • Must hold a valid DEA license
  • Must be registered to use any PDMP currently in use in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
