HR Consultants at OneDigital have responsibility for designing and administering HR policies, procedures and programs, and supporting employees throughout the client’s organization. Our HR Consultants provide expert advice, counsel and implementation support through a retained business model or on a project-basis to our clients, which range from small/emerging-growth to mid-size organizations. Experience as a generalist and in areas of HR that include HR Policy and Compliance (Employee Handbooks), Employment Processing and Onboarding, Training, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, and liaison to Benefits, Payroll and HR Technology Providers will prepare you for this position. This role promotes HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment.

In this role, you will demonstrate your proven project management skills and your ability to multi-task as you manage the moving parts and priorities of multiple clients. Projects will vary and the polished skills of a consultant are core to your success. This role will also provide administrative support for the region to include project management, invoicing and maintaining our client information in CRM.

The ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field; and a minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience as a HR Generalist/Leader. A blend of both corporate and consulting experience is required. Must have served as a consultant for a minimum of 2 years. Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification strongly preferred. A solid foundation of HR knowledge – employment laws and practices - as well as a keen ability to serve as a business partner. Sound judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government (Federal and State) law. Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs. Must be comfortable leading presentations and facilitating training for groups and leadership teams.  Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and a strong understanding of existing and emerging HR and business operational technology tools and platforms. Strong research, analytical and project management skills. Experience with and an understanding of the business process to track billable hours and manage the client invoice process. A sense of urgency and exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with a desire to build long, lasting relationships. The ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout the firm. The ability to support employees and management objectively through complex, difficult, and emotional issues. Proven experience in leading difficult conversations (terminations, probation, salary reductions, etc.) as well as employee growth and counseling conversations. Independent judgment, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment. Certification and experience as an executive coach is desirable. Experience defining and delivering detailed compensation studies is highly desirable.
