Overview

Responsible for specific tasks included in finance which could include accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide input concerning internal controls, which will safeguard the Company's assets Prepare journal entries and accurate worksheets to substantiate and document account balances Assist in the timely preparation of filings which include the annual statement and compliance Process check and wire payments Cash forecasting Special projects as required

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred  2 to 3 years experience financial accounting of insurance, finance or banking  Must have good organization skills and be detail oriented  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and ability to learn new software programs
