Overview:

Responsible for specific tasks included in finance which could include accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide input concerning internal controls, which will safeguard the Company's assets
  • Prepare journal entries and accurate worksheets to substantiate and document account balances
  • Assist in the timely preparation of filings which include the annual statement and compliance
  • Process check and wire payments
  • Cash forecasting
  • Special projects as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting preferred
  • 2 to 3 years experience financial accounting of insurance, finance or banking
  • Must have good organization skills and be detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and ability to learn new software programs
