Pay Rate:
• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (additional $1.00/hour for 2nd & 3rd shifts)
• Additional Notes: Eligible returners receive an additional $0.50 per hour.

What's a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician? You'll be:
• Reviewing SOPs and WIs for packaging seed corn
• Assisting the packaging shift operator with setup and preparation
• Checking equipment operation and safety devices
• Communicating with warehouse personnel regarding storage of packaged seed
• Verifying labels, tags, and prints against SOPs or WIs
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the packaging area
• Assisting with other tasks and issues as needed
• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs during the off-season
• Cross-training in all functional areas as directed
• Performing additional duties as assigned by plant management

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have PC knowledge or are willing to learn
• Possess strong communication skills with various plant personnel
• Have organizational and time management skills
• Are able to train others in packaging, forklift, and safety procedures
• Have inventory SAP experience and a manufacturing background (preferred)
• Are capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
• Are willing to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays during peak seasons
• Are flexible to work shift work, including potential 12-hour days and nights
• Can work independently without constant supervision
• Are comfortable working in conditions that may involve elevated heat, cold, and dust
