Demonstrates a strong understanding of the state’s political and community service environment (i.e., community service leaders, partners, organizations, critical state-wide community service needs, legislative leaders, government officials, major stakeholders, etc.). Previous government relations and grassroots-organizing experience. Experience working with and managing a diverse volunteer or membership base. Local travel up to 30%. Preferred: Experience working with elected officials and their staff in the Sacramento region. Managing or coordinating volunteers in advocacy positions.
