ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
$22.00 - $28.00 Hourly
JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant handles a wide variety of complex and confidential situations and resolves conflicts involving the clerical, financial and administrative function of the office. They are responsible for confidential and time sensitive material; preparing routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports; and they will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Clerical Duties
Typing, filing, ordering supplies Writes letters and correspondence as needed Maintains files on correspondence Answers telephones, screens calls, and takes messagesReports & Records
Maintains reports and records Assists in collecting data as needed Assists with preparation of materials as directed Assists with reports and issues as requestedScheduling
Schedules meetings and appointments Maintains schedules including travel and lodging arrangementsOther Duties or Special Projects as Assigned
Attends committee meetings and prepares minutes as directedQUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associate Degree or equivalent in experienceTraining
Computer skills to ensure proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS OutlookExperience
Two years experience in related field preferred Kronos or similar timekeeping/scheduling systemsAbilities
Ability to make independent decisions within the leadership framework as defined by the report structure. General office equipment skills needed (fax, copy, multi-line phone, etc.) Proficient in medical and legal terminology. Proficient with Excel/spreadsheets

TELEMEDICINE - GMR provides a telemedicine benefit through Teladoc for our employees and their dependents. Teladoc offers convenient phone and video care for many medical conditions for a low, fixed copay.
DENTAL - We offer two dental plans, including a plan that covers orthodontics.
SURVIVOR BENEFITS - GMR provides company paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance. In addition, we offer an option to buy additional coverage for you, your spouse and your children at affordable rates.
INCOME PROTECTION - We offer company paid short-term and long-term disability insurance to protect a portion of your income in case of disability or extended illness.
VOLUNTARY BENEFIT OPTIONS - We offer a variety of other optional benefits including financial wellness services, legal coverage, identity theft protection and more.
The benefits listed apply to most core non-union positions. Union position benefits are dictated by their specific Collective Bargaining Agreement.
