Tripadvisor is looking for an individual with 2+ years of current Programmatic experience who would like to keep learning in the digital advertising ecosystem and play an integral role in programmatic deal management, partnering with our internal account teams & external clients and assisting with data analysis. This position will offer the right person a great opportunity to work cross-functionally in a collaborative team environment and help support our growing media business.

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Programmatic Strategy & Operations Manager, the Programmatic Operations Specialist is responsible for the following critical tasks: 

Provide best-in-class service and programmatic guidance to Tripadvisor’s internal stakeholders and external customers e.g. sales, account management, planners, advertising operations, analytics, as well as advertisers & agencies Collaborate with sales, account managers & clients to understand objectives and needs in order to help develop strategic programmatic media plans across display, mobile and outstream video Receive and review campaign requests from sales & clients and ensure that they adhere to advertising specifications and guidelines Set up programmatic non-guaranteed campaigns (Preferred Deal, Private Auction) across our SSPs. This includes deal custom creation, buyer approvals, troubleshooting, optimizations and reporting Support sales & clients with RFIs as well as participating in client meetings and assisting to create any pre/post campaign presentation decks & reports Help build and maintain data visualization dashboards Review weekly reports and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns launch on time and revenue is maximized Analyze deal performance and proactively uncover any limitations and recommend solutions Seek out opportunities to work collaboratively, expanding the scope & influence of your role as you grow more comfortable Continuously maintain expertise in the digital advertising environment

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience (programmatic selling/buying and data analytics experience) Understanding of the digital ad ecosystem relating to programmatic operations (selling and/or buying) preferably with experience in GAM/DV360 or other top SSPs/DSPs Strong attention to details, highly organized Open and collaborative approach Positive attitude Great analytic skills. Excellent problem solver Ability to manage and exceed customer expectations Great interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be communicating daily with multiple key internal and external stakeholders Excellent written and oral communication skills Comfortable with a rapidly changing, fast paced and demanding online advertising sales environment Driver of operational efficiency and excellence Strong Team Player

The salary range for this role is $70,720 to $85,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
