The Office Manager is responsible for the administrative, financial, and human resources functions for the plant. In this role, you will manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines in a busy plant office. You will participate as a business partner providing guidance and direction to the plant management team in the areas of accounting, finance, and human resources. In addition, you will:

Responsible for accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely and accurate processing. Supervise front office staff as appropriate. Responsible for timely and accurate support of all regional initiatives, information requests, and back-up assistance as related to all centralized administrative functions - A/P, A/R, collections, etc. Responsible for timely and accurate support of all local initiatives of an administrative nature - training and development records, tasks identified by the local quality system, various monthly reports, etc. Responsible for all house Human Resource duties. Responsible for daily and accurate invoicing of shipped products and submission of supporting data to Dallas-Shared Services. Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll including compiling, checking, and transmitting to Dallas-Shared Services, as well as all related recordkeeping. Responsible for all in-house human resources duties; new hires, terminations, insurance, worker's comp, associate inquiries, etc. Ensures that appropriate documentation is forwarded to either HR or Employee Services. Answer telephones, process mail, and lead day-to-day management of the office.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Education: Two-year associate degree or equivalent preferred. Experience Necessary: Minimum five years of general office and accounting experience. Familiar with applicable employment laws. Must possess or acquire extensive knowledge of Bodycote policies, practices, and procedures. Proficient in ERP and database systems. Although directly reporting to the General Manager must be comfortable functioning in a matrix organization with strong dotted line reporting to finance and HR. Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English. Must possess supervisory skills and be able to effectively direct and prioritize the work of others. High proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Experience with ERP systems is required. Ability to guide, lead, and direct employee relation activities and communication meetings on all shifts.

This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following:

Work Environment: General office environment, with infrequent exposure to an industrial environment where heat, cold, noise, dust humidity, etc. may be present. Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions. Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc. Ability to hear in person and via phone.
