Job Description:
This opportunity is perfect for a self-driven and motivated individual looking to start or grow their career as a Patient Care Coordinator in the field of physical therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our clinic.
- Scheduling: Manage patient appointments and coordinate schedules to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Administrative Support: Handle patient records, insurance verification, authorizations, and billing inquiries with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and therapists, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Office Management: Maintain a well-organized and welcoming clinic environment.

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
- Must have open availability
- Previous experience as a patient care coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, therapists, and other staff members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage patient scheduling, records, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Empathetic and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care.
