We are currently seeking a Receiving Clerk Administrator with experience working as a Receiving Clerk with industry experience working in Data Entry Administration or in the construction/landscaping industry to join our Purchasing department. Purchase Orders: Responsible for entering purchase orders into our systems (Counter Point & NAV) and keeping inventory accurate for other The Bruce Company materials.Order Entry: Assist in creating and entering purchase orders into Counter Point and NAV system.Vendor Communication: Report shortages or damaged material to vendors.Receiving: Accurately enter all receiving into Counter Point and NAV.Barcode Management: Enter barcodes and item profile characteristics.Discrepancy Reporting: Report reasons for discrepancy errors in checking in our counts to the Warehouse Manager.Customer Service: Use excellent customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, and vendors.Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Indoor Work: Work is primarily performed indoors with exposure to standard office conditions, including heating and air conditioning and operation of computers.Physical Activity: Regularly sits, stands, walks, talks, and listens for long periods throughout the day.Lifting: Occasionally lifts weights of up to 25 pounds.Reaching: Occasionally required to reach above shoulders.Fine Motor Skills: Vision and fine motor skills are required for the use of computers and creating communication.Schedule
Full-Time: This is a full-time (40-50 hours per week) year-round position.Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.Overtime: Occasional overtime as workload dictates.Peak Season: Hours vary during peak season.The Skills You Need
Detail-Oriented: Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Computer Proficiency: Proficient in the use of computers.Microsoft Office: Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Software Experience: Experience with Microsoft Navision (NAV) and Counterpoint (POS) is helpful.Data Entry: Accurate and efficient data entry skills.Mathematical Skills: Proficient in mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and dimensions (areas, diameters, etc.).Proofreading: Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in English with strong oral and written communication skills.Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with sensitive organizational information.Benefits
