Analyst II

Pay Rate: $33 - $37/Hour
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a highly analytical and dynamic team
with high visibility and collaboration across the Global businesses. The Senior Financial
Analyst will immediately contribute to a range of strategic projects and high priority initiatives, helping
to drive insights and analysis to solve business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare participation calculations for Studio Finance team for inclusion in program ultimates
- Track incoming participation statements, perform reviews, and compare with associated audit
rights in order to determine the Studio’s position for possible audit engagement
- Review legal agreements and participation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with
contractual obligations
- Assist in cash planning and forecasting for long range participation and residual payments
- Research and resolve guild and third party audit settlements and legal proceedings related to
Studio participations and residuals
- Work in team environment on various high exposure FP&A projects for executive understanding
and decision making process
- Must be able to work with and analyze large amounts of data
- Partner with other groups to obtain relevant information for related participant analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience in the entertainment industry
preferred.
- MS suite experience with a strong concentration in Excel a must
- Strong analytical and communication skills required
Additional qualifications:
- Previous experience in Participation and Residuals preferred
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Highly analytical, able to synthesize data and provide insightful narratives
- Results-oriented with the ability to balance multiple assignments at a time in a fast-paced
environment to achieve desired results
- Able to build positive relationships with finance peers
