The Public Relations Lead will report to the Senior Director of Global Communications and requires close collaboration with multiple teams internally including Social Media, Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Analyst Relations, APAC Communications, EMEA Communications, and Industry Solutions teams to deliver a measurable impact to the business, drive customer adoption of MongoDB products, and exceed corporate global awareness objectives.

This role can be based out of our Seattle, San Francisco or New York offices with hybrid and remote options available. Occasional travel will be required.

Position Expectations

Grow awareness for MongoDB Atlas as the number-one developer data platform for building modern applications on any of the major cloudsWork collaboratively with teams across MongoDB to deliver campaigns that drive awareness through owned, earned, and social media contentCultivate a core set of relationships with journalists across prioritized geographies to amplify and promote MongoDB’s vision for modern application developmentContribute to communications programs at virtual and physical events for MongoDBDevelop long-term strategies and tactics to amplify MongoDB content and work cross-functionally across Global Corporate Marketing to identify and execute on opportunities for proactive storytelling via earned, owned, and social mediaOwn end-to-end PR strategy for product launches, including developing compelling narrative, messaging, and all PR materials, as well as coordinating media outreach. Ensure maximum visibility and impact through strategic media placements and targeted communication plans, and proactive media outreachPosition MongoDB executives and subject matter experts as thought leaders in the industry through bylined articles, speaking engagements, and media interviewsOversee the creation of press releases, media kits, bylined articles, and all PR materials.
