Your Role With Us:

Lead Certified Medical Assistant- Uglow Dallas Family Medicine Clinic

You will employ your sharp organizational and critical thinking skills to oversee clinic tasks and assist with performance improvement.

Primary Functions:

Be a resource along with leadership to meet daily operational needs.  Assist leadership with the coordination of clinic schedules and department meetings.  Coordinate daily tasks and assignments, and assist in daily staff scheduling need.  Work in collaboration with leadership regarding operations of the electronic medical record (EMR); scheduling, registration, and MyChart.  Assist other front office staff with access and use.  Assist in trouble shooting, including Help Desk inquiries as needed.  Provide excellent communications to all staff and providers so that they can work in a collaborative and engaged environment.  Assist in coordinating new employee onboarding process and provide training as needed.  Provide oversite of the referral process and schedule patients to the clinic in a timely manner.  Ensure clinic process and standard work are adhered to in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.  Be a subject matter expert regarding LEAN methodologies, and assist CMA's with LEAN work.

Background/Expertise:

-High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

-Minimum of two (2) years of certified medical assistant experience. 

-Minimum of one (1) year of EMR experience required.

-National certification from NCCT, NHA, AMT, or AAMA required.

-BLS certification from the AHA required upon hire.
