Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – IDD NurseThomasville, GA | Temp to Perm | $18.00 / Hour A service center is looking for a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to perform individualized nursing care for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for working in a timely manner, upholding the facility’s expectations for cleanliness, and interacting with each client in a respectful and polite manner.ResponsibilitiesUse and practice basic assessment data collection, participate in planningAdminister medicine to individuals in accordance to their Plan of CareExecute interventions in accordance with the Plan of CareCommunicate to ensure patient/family is educated to the Plan of Care and planned treatmentsMaintain an environment of safety for patients, self and others and support patient safety initiativesAssess patient's condition, including biophysical, psychosocial, age specific needs, and safety needsDocument patients status according to unit specific and nursing division polices and proceduresCollaborate with other health care team members in formulating plan, implement the nursing plan of care on assigned patientsAdhere to the American Nurses Association Code of EthicsRecognize, support and utilize evidenced based nursing practicesFollow all Physicians orders as givenCoordinate activities with other health team members to ensure optimal patient care and communication of pertinent findingsAny other task as requested by the Supervisor or Administrator Education and Experience High school diploma or GEDActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) LicensureIDD experienceRequirementsClean criminal background checkClear Drug ScreenValid driver’s licenseClean motor vehicle record (7 years)Insured vehicleLift up to 40 poundsWork well in a fast-paced environmentHave strong communication skillsBe able to perform all of the duties listed aboveHave personable customer service skillsBe self-motivated and stay on task with minimal supervisionLocation: Thomasville, GAPay Rate: $18.00 / Hourly - Based on experienceSchedule: Monday – Friday either 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and every other weekend 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.New Hire Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.We Are On A Mission:We seek to be a resource that bridges the gap between the needs of the employer and the job seeker by providing personalized service for each client.
