Timeline of the job?

The assurance intern is a seasonal position that will begin the week of January 6 or 13, 2025, and end approximately April 25, 2025.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree Accounting and 150 credit hours GPA of 3.0 or greater

Technical

Understand the rules, regulations, and professional code of conduct of the AICPA Understand basic accounting principles Use of debits & credits and relationship between accounts Proficient at completing audit programs (Cash, A/P, PPE) Is proficient at conducting single audit testing Understand how to use IDEA and F/A solutions Understanding of basic financial statements Employee has a sense of urgency or promptness to achieve goals Experience with accounting software through classwork

Personal Development

Aspirations to become a CPA and develop a public accounting career Strong written and verbal communication skills

Teamwork

Ability to work in a team and take direction from multiple managers
