Description

Price Industries Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. Reporting to and supporting the Sustainable Systems team, this role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with outside sales representatives, providing technical support, and promoting Price products.

This is a relational sales role, emphasizing long-term partnerships rather than new business development or cold calling. The position is pivotal in maintaining our status as the supplier of preference and the top brand in all assigned territories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact between external reps and Price, ensuring strong communication and lasting partnerships.

Customer Engagement:  Actively engage with customers, addressing their needs and concerns, and providing solutions aligned with our product offerings.

Field Training & Customer Events:  Conduct in-field training sessions and coordinate customer events to showcase Price products and their applications.

Technical Sales & Product Promotion : Promote Price products via training events and technical presentations, both in-market and at Price Technical Centers.

Software Training & Troubleshooting:  Provide in-depth software training and assist in troubleshooting product-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Pre-Order Sales Coordination:  Work closely with internal teams to manage pre-order processes and meet customer expectations.

Strategic Project Management : Create and execute strategic plans for customer engagement, training, and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, reps, and internal teams.

Entertainment & Relationship Building : Foster strong relationships through proactive customer engagement strategies, including events and entertainment.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) is required. 2+ years of experience in an engineering, product application, or technical sales role. Ability to troubleshoot and support product-related issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and technical presentations. Strong project management skills and ability to multitask, execute strategic plans, and meet goals and deadlines. Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software platforms. Ability to travel overnight for customer visits, training sessions, and events.
