This role is accountable for the multifaceted supply chain process of allocating goods to our customers across key accounts for a $200m brand portfolio. The Data & Allocation Analyst will work with Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, and management to understand the brand trajectories, and programs for the current and subsequent year and produce monthly allocation plans at all distribution levels for items requiring allocation and distributed to the commercial teams. The incumbent would be the business process owner for Planning all Preorder & Embargo items.
This role is required to sit in our Pawtucket RI office and works a hybrid schedule: 2 days in office and 3 at home.
A Day in the Life as a Data and Allocation Analyst:
Develop & execute a four-month Allocation Plan for approximately $300m of business: When constrained, construct plans, guide, and advise the distribution process. Preorder & Embargo Management: Monthly meetings with Sales and Marketing will be organized by this role owner as well as analyze, track, and time the product to retail. Identify, establish, and plan assigned categories merchandise requirements for all accounts retail plan-o-grams throughout the year. Advertising, Special Promotions & Media Support - It is the responsibility of the planner to approve, modify, or decline the promotion based on availability of product. The Analyst will ensure Hasbro’s promotional plans are fulfilled along with the national distribution of featured product for new launches as well as ongoing media flights. Retail Assortment/Version Management: Items within Hasbro’s product line often consist of various assortments each assigned its own suffix number. You will gather, transform, and report large sets of unstructured data into structured information for analysis, decision-making, and reporting. Will support and develop existing and new reports and dashboards in Microsoft’s business analytics service, Power BI.What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor of Science Business/ Bachelor of Science in Data Science or equivalent experience Report building, and data analytics expertise required . Advanced in Excel (index match, pivot tables, power pivots) required , SAP prefered. Experience in programing in PowerBI highly preferred . Allocation planning experience prefered . Excellent analytical, process, and workflow skills. Proven project management capabilities, able to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize a variety of incoming requests.
