Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing the strategy and implementation for the wildfire risk, consequence, and reliability product portfolios. The position leads a team of product managers to evaluate and develop new offerings, manage and support existing products in the market, and sunset products at end of life. This role may also manage highly complex product introductions themselves as well as delegating priorities to their direct reports.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
Bay Minimum: $136,000
Bay Maximum: $232,000
&/OR
CA Minimum: $129,000
CA Maximum: $220,000
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
Job Responsibilities
Manages a product family portfolio and market segment, aligning and driving the execution of the portfolio within the context of a broader portfolio strategy. Manages a large budget for broad product portfolio and organization. Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions. Develops innovative solutions to cross-organizational issues, including process development and continuous improvement. Establishes relationships with key external stakeholders (i.e., industry and regulatory). Works with senior management to support strategic planning and decision making, e.g., market transformation strategies for product portfolio; portfolio management; roadmap methodology, resource and budget planning, regulatory policy, etc. Works with & leverages relationships with Managers, Directors, and Senior Directors across functions / PG&E. Recruits/selects, communicates expectations, fosters employee engagement, coaches, develops, mentors, recognizes and rewards employees in order to drive performance and results.Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Psychology, or related Relevant experience, 6 yearsDesired:
Masters Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experienceLeadership experience
PMP-Project Management Professional certification
Pragmatic Marketing certification
