Job Summary

Somerset Community College is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant II position. This position will provide administrative support for the Business and Applied Technology area.

Job Duties:

• Maintains and organizes area calendar and schedule.

• Performs general support duties such as preparing correspondence, memorandums, reports, filing, etc.

• Serves as receptionist such as greeting visitors, answering phone, distributing mail etc.

• Assists with confidential materials related to the department.

• Tracks departmental budget and orders departmental supplies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, and three years of related work experience, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree (related field) and one year related work experience.
