DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Final Parts Mounting Robot Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensuring Safety : By promptly reporting hazards and incidents, complying with HSE standards, and using appropriate PPE, youll help maintain a safe working environment for everyone.

Maintaining Quality Standards : By following standard work procedures, performing quality inspections, and addressing non-conforming materials, youll ensure high-quality production and minimize costs.

Achieving Production Goals : Operating equipment independently and efficiently to meet production specifications and schedules will help achieve the companys productivity targets.

Coaching and Mentoring : Instructing and coaching less experienced team members will enhance their skills and contribute to a more capable and knowledgeable team.

Maintaining Equipment : Performing routine housekeeping, machine cleaning, and maintenance tasks will ensure that equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.

Effective Communication: Communicating effectively with your team and support staff will ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.

Continuous Improvement : Participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will drive ongoing enhancements in the workplace.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Troubleshoot the Robots in the event they go down and implement a fix to mitigate downtime as efficiently as possible while maintaining high quality standards.

This may include cleaning equipment inside the main arm of the robot (flow meter, color-stack regulator and its associated tubing), or cleaning or changing the robots manifold or gun used to paint.

Inspecting the paint for light spots, deficiencies in adhesion (fish-eyes, orange peel, sags or grease affecting paint from properly sticking to engine.

Document Air control numbers any changes we made via respective paper or electronic log sheets.

There is a 2-year commitment with this job.

Compensation:

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidates qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

Min Salary $46720

Max Salary $70080
