We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Fiscal Services Assistant. In this role, you will provide support by performing various administrative and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy in financial reporting.

Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: The Fiscal Services Assistant provides support, respite, and learned expertise to the basic cost reimbursement billing functions. Fiscal Services Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fiscal services department. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. Additionally, you will provide support to the department director and other team members as needed. 

Assist with Account Receivable payment reconciliation and postings for the Account Receivable Director and Controller. Ensure accuracy in the financial data entry. Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Be proactive in serving the process of correcting denied claims in the behavioral health billing/service area Actively be involved with the development and support of programs as determined by management Be positively responsive to changes in the department and job responsibilities as circumstances. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Provide administrative support to the fiscal and RCM/Billing department.

Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent is minimum. Associates or other degree is preferred.

Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Strong written and communication skills.
