As Quality Engineering Manager at KinderCare, you'll lead our testing team and drive QE strategy across various product implementations. You will work to develop, implement, and maintain a system of quality and reliability testing for KinderCare’s products and development processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Lead the testing team supporting ERP Migration and Salesforce implementation product work and create a succession plan for the team. Help to stablish the testing practice for Salesforce and Workday quality engineering team. Participate in scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment. Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution. Establish, monitor, and report QE metrics & performance indicators that measure testing speed, coverage, and quality; adjust strategy and execution to achieve goals. Work closely with engineering leadership to build a multi-layer testing strategy that integrates in the overall software development lifecycle and is optimized for the right balance of pace, test coverage and quality of output, and included mapping out needs for unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing. Strategically prioritize test coverage for areas of product based on criticality, usage, and risk. Own technical roadmap of the automation suites that cover our products and user journeys. Develop, implement, and maintain a planning model to estimate, track and report on return on investment for test automation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 4+ Years of QA experience. 2+ years of proven experience in Salesforce. 1+ years of experience managing teams and resources, with the ability to lead and influence within a matrixed environment with sense of business acumen. 1+ years of experience support UAT Testing or acting as UAT coordinator. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empower and inspire cross-functional teams. Self-starter who can navigate and resolve time & resource constraints, complexity of applications, changing technology landscape, team management & motivation, balancing quality with business needs. Exposure with testing tools that leverage AI and ML features to enhance testing capabilities. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities (Problem-solving skills). Salesforce certifications, preferred. ERP implementation experience, preferred. Ability and appetite to lead and engage diverse and equitable teams
